Hello All. Hope this is the right area for newbie messages! I'm too durn old for to learn this new E stuff. Just got a new (1947) Ford F4 dually which is to become (hopefully) an F1. I NEVER done this before, may never again, but if it goes well, my Oldest Grandson and I will be riding the streets sometime (year or two??) in it. We intend to sit it on an S-10 chassis and use our older (89) chevy van engine and transmission, 350/700R for power. I know without knowing that it's gonna be a loooong road there, but maybe (?) fun! We'll need to find a suitable body (or build a wooden one) in a while, but will watch the swap sheets. ANY suggestions will be seriously considered and deeply appreciated. My first question is ------- WHY is this Forum for 1948 and up? What about us'n that is older? Many thanks in advance for all the help and the patience. oldrodder43.
