New Member - 1951 F-1 1/2 Ton
Hi everyone!
I am a new member and I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas!
I recently purchased a 1951 F-1 1/2 ton. I am trying to figure out all the numbers on it and I am not sure it has the original I-6 in it. Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Welcome to the forum. Glad to have another 51/52 guy. The numbers you found tell us that the truck is an original six cylinder model (the H), and if your 3519 is the whole sequence number it is a very early 1951 build. It was built at the Richmond, VA, plant. The 1HC means it is a 1951 (1), six cylinder (H), and a half ton (C). C is the factory code for a half ton. The firewall tag repeats the above with the RIC short for Richmond. For the firewall stamping I'm gonna defer to the experts over on the 48-56 forum. That will show color and build date but I'm not versed in the specifics. I'd suggest posting that over on the 48-56 page, you'll get a lot of help from the guys.
As for the other numbers, there is no way to know whether the 226 engine is original to the truck. Engines didn't last as long back then due to poorer quality lubricants and were replaced commonly after a few years usage. The 7HA 6015-B is simply the grouping part number for the timing cover. The same applies to the other part numbers for their groupings.
