Remember this and never forget
h, ok. as i dont pay any attention to new york city, i had no idea what it meant. sorry if i offended anyone, but you have to remember, there are some that have no idea what a picture without an explanation means.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Maybe the title through you off ?
How about:
Remember this sight/scene ? .......... Never Forget How it Was

because now it is gone
Remember this and never forget
Being an american who has served, I for one will never forget what was , what happened, what is happening still, and what is happening to those that are serving.
Remember this and Never Forget .
I understood what it was and will never forget.
I still remember Pearl Harbour plus all the other attacks and losses of life as well.
It wasn't me with the interpretation problem.
I simply offered an explanation

Remembering it and Never forget....... are the same thing

It can seem synonomous Dennis, but I think the intent was as I explained above.
I do understand that you are sympathetic to the pain of your neighbors to the South regarding the attacks 5 years ago, and I appreciate it. I also understand that you are a sensible person and realize that the events of 9-11 have adversely affected not only Americans, but all free nations as well.
It is easy to be misunderstood when communicating in this fashion.
Cheers, T
i could not tell you anything about newark, or new brunswick, or perth amboy new jersey either. i don't go into city's, because i don't care for the feeling of being another ant in the ant farm..

Just so you know, so when you come to Canada you know what to look for because you've seen it here first.

Everytime I view any of the 9/11 attacks... my mind and body physically feels the pain & horror of all those that died that day.
What happened on 9/11... Will Never, Ever Be Forgotten ...by Me

I am not sure how to respond to this whole topic but I will ask if any of you were there or know someone who was there and involved in the relief effort of the Trade Centre.. Or if you know someone who actually died there. I know they are Americans and we all feel for them. I must tell you that 2 weeks after it happened we sent 1/3 of our fire Department to help out. We mostly ended up useing the Honor Guard to help bury the Dead Firefighters. I can tell you all only 1 thing and that is the pictures you post here of it is nothing compared to being there or having home video of Ground Zero it is a whole lot different. The pictures really do not show the destruction in its true form.. I think we need to quit arguing over who cares more or less and just pull together as a nation to try and remember what happened so maybe everyone is aware enough to help prevent another one happening... Anyway I remember everyday I go into work because we have extra training now so we may be able to handle an attack closer to our home and even further from home... We also sent people South shortly after Katrina , what a mess...
In closing alot of people have forgotten but that could be part of healing I guess. At our 911 Honor Guard Memorial less people show up every year. Anyway I better sign off so you guys can let me have it ... Thanks for the T Pee pic it did brighten my day...

my father knew over 30 members of fdny that never came home.
and 2 ex employees had family members that never came home.
and now the brave people that dropped everything to help are starting to suffer. i know a few port authority police that are in the starting stages of silicosis, and a few that have asbestosis.
the pain and suffering from that terrible day will be with us for a long time, and unfortunately, the death toll is going to rise rapidly within a few years.
