My friend's truck had a c-6 too. He had a 5.8 though. Mileage was crap.But that is neither here nor there. If you are going bigger than 33's go 4:10's. You have stuck a lot of money in that truck so you mine as well do this right too. Just my 2c.

I have 33's on a stock '91, they rub a little, but do fit. With a 3" lift, go for the 35's!!!

I have 31" BFG All Terrains on my 4x4 with stock rims and then never rub. No lift kit either. Mine is a 5.0L auto and 3:55 gears and power still feels pretty good.
