brake controller mounting

I hope you guys could help me out with this one. I have a brake controller in the garage from my dad's 98 Ram. I was thinking of mounting it in my truck but don't know where to stick it. If someone could post some pics of where they put theirs. Just so I can get an idea of where to mount it. Oh yeah this is for a 97 F150 4.6 Scab w/ towing package.

Anywhere you can reach it and it not be in the way Just watch out for the diagnostic port, mechanics whine and moan when you block it. Oops... anyways, if this link doesn't work take a look in my gallary. My 2002 has it in the same place, just moved slightly to avoid that diagnostic port.

Mine came with a brake controller, so I had no say in where it went. It was installed in the pocket in the dash right around your right shin. It's almost directly above the diag port. It's mounted with the industrial velcro stuff, so I can rip it out and get access to things I normally put in there. I HATE where it is, but you may like it if you don't use that space for anything. Small hole drilled in the back; wires fed through. The harness for them is right there on the other side of the dash.
