Question Vacuum line diagrams?

Where can i find a diagram of where the vacuum lines go on my 85 300 with auto. I like to know if I'm hooking the lines up on the proper ports on the carb and the christmas vacuum ports on the intake. The truck runs fine but it does not seem right. Where the line for the distributor goes there is no vacuum so I suspect vacuum advance is not working then. It has the choke that is heat tubed and a second tube from the bottom of the exhaust manifold goes up onto the carb. Does anyone have these diagrams and could they e-mail them to me here.

Have you looked at the ones that are on the autozone website? They have 4 or 5 different ones.

I have a 300I6VAN85. Mine did not come stock with a vacumn to the dizzy. The dizzy is advanced via the computor and sensors, if they are working right. My van has a vacumn schematic under the hood. Look under yours. Shop manuals will have them also. Recheck your dizzy for a vacuum port. Does not sound stock to me. Might be some changes in kanook land, or some one might have had thier fill of the computor and sensors as I did.

Wink

Does anyone have a vacuum line diagram for 1978 F250 351M. My ex took it apart before he sold it back to me....hahaha, what a joke, and have got it all together except for the vacuum lines. Have a general idea but still running a lil rough. Can someone e-mail me a copy if they have it. Manual does not cover all the lines that I have traced and replaced.

Go to autozone's site, I think you have to register/sign up.

Give it your make, model & year.

Click the Repair Info tab at the top.

In the LH column, Vehicle Repair Guides.

In the main body, Drivability and Emission Controls.

In the LH column, down at the bottom, Vacuum Diagrams.
