Normal Engine Operating Temperature

I just installed the new Quadzilla Commander, which has a digital temperature guage. the highest temperature I have seen is 160F, the panel guage reads in the middle of the normal running temp.

What is the normal operating temperature, 160f seems a little cool, seems like 180-195 would be better.

Thanks,
Toddyw

One dealer told me 190 is where the truck is when the needle is at half ( normal, usual temp) and another dealer told me 210. I dont think anyone really knows...lol. But I agree, 160 seems a little low, maybe the probe is in the wrong spot? Someone with more knowledge about that then me would be able to help with placement.

Thanks for the replies. The commander is connected directly to the stock temperature sending unit. The truck runs good and is still getting great fuel ecomony, 21mpg. Guess I'll call Quadzilla about this one.
