Navistar vs. Isuzu

What makes Navistar a better diesel engine?

How about Isuzu? How are they better.

I have heard of turbo charger troubles on Ford trucks, and I have heard of injector
troubles on G.M. trucks.

Tell me what you think of both

i don't think nothing of it, if it ain't one problem, then it will be another.

i want someone to tell me one truck that doesn't have some sort of real or perceived flaw with it.

"real" and "percieved" are the key words here. The early D-maxes did have some injectors replaced- but that was a Bosch issue, not GM really. Early 6.0's had their share too. Again, that was then, not now.

Speaking of who has a better track record, I would say Isuzu. International has made some great diesels, like the 7.3L Powerstroke and the DT family of medium duty diesels. But, I think International has made more than a few turds. The DV-550, the DVT's, the 9.0L, the V-800, and the early 6.0L (VT-365) all left quite a bit to be desired. I think the old 6.9L was just 'fair'. On the other hand, if Isuzu has made a bad diesel, I have not seen it yet. I have been around a lot of them, from medium duty 4 and 6 cylinder truck engines, the little 4 cylinders than used to come in the I-Mark and P'up (and Chevy Chevette and S-10, for that matter), and industrial diesels in generators and older Bobcats. Though parts could be expensive, those engines were all very reliable.
