I have a 2005 F-250 5.4L V8 and i want to put the dynomax exhaust kit on my truck they have for it. dose anyone know if its good or not? sounds good and is worth the money? before i buy it. or what is a good kit that isnt outrages in price and i can install at homein my shop?
Are you speaking of the Superturbo sysem? That system uses muffler 17792. I just bought that muffler and installed it on my 2005 with the V10. (same system for V8 or 10) It's pretty quiet on the V10. It will sound better behind a V8. If you're looking for just a little noise then this would be a good choice. If you want louder then a free flowing muffler like a Magnaflow may be better.
Summit racing has the kit, WLK-19410, for $255.39 or just the muffler for $72.95. Should be easy to install. Only touble I had was removing the tail pipe. If you aren't going to save it then cut it up. I was reusing it so I had to jack up the rear till the wheels were almost off the ground to get enough clearance.
