hey guys... just got finished putting in a new waterpump...so if anyone needs pointers... i'll be happy to help! midas wanted 225+ tax. i finished it in 3 hours for my first attempt ever...total cost? 30 bucks
now.. for the last few months i've had a clunk in the floorboard. mainly if i take tight turns or stop pretty quick. I would guess body mounts...which would suck.. any other ideas? cv's or u's? radius arm bushing? it's an 87 btw
Cootvon, I've had a similar problem on my 92 Explorer. I found one of my radius arm bushings was slap wore out. I took the support brace off that goes across the vehicle which is bolted to the radius arm by a large nut. Since you will have the support off you might as well replace both of them. My new bushings made all the difference in the world. My clunking stopped and it quit driving me crazy. Hope this helps.
