Bummer! Glad to hear you are on the road to recovery though. Take it easy and follow the Doc's advice. When I hurt my arm in Jan. of this year, I didn't listen. I went back to work too early and am now paying for it with constant pain.
Glad to hear your recovering. That is a scary thing to have happen. Believe me, I know.
I had a subdural hematoma around 10 years ago and was in the hospital and nursing home for nearly 4 months over it. One of my best friends had a small stroke a few years ago too. He was down for a while, but seems to have made a full recovery.
Do they know what caused yours? Both mine and my friends were blood pressure spikes. As everyone else has already stated, follow the advice of the doctors. I would not be here (many times over) if I hadn't.
Glad to hear your getting better. My dad had a small one alittle while back.He is doing great. He was at the shop with me yesterday and helped me on my 48.It was great.God speed your recovery.

Tim,
I was wondering where you were. I jus figured you were too busy out in the shop.
Man, thats a real bummer about the stroke thing, glad to hear that you are on the mend. As someone else said, you don't get friends like that for no reason, I'm sure that they just acted in a way that you do.
Here's hoping for a full and speedy recovery!! Got to get you back out in the shop, if for no other reason than to sip a frosty beverage

Tim,
Glad to hear you are on the road to recovery. Take care of yourself, these trucks are very patient. Keep following the doc's orders so you can get back to the shop!
Good Luck,
Kent
Thanks to all, per my doctors, I have made an amazing recovery and am weeks ahead of where they thought I would be. (Not bad for almost 60) I worked in the shop a couple of hours on Sat and Sun. Shortened my Flaming River column 2 inches. After my physical therapist leaves today I will try to finish fabbing the pieces for my roof console and maybe even tack it together. Just have to be careful to not to over-do it. We are also planning our 07 road tour and will attend (in a wheel chair if necessary) the All-Ford show at the new Cardinal stadium in Phoenix this weekend. Thanks again, you guys/gals are the best. Later

OK Tim, I know your doctors told you it was a stroke, but what do they know? I think that you probably overloaded something trying to come up with more customizing ideas!! Get well soon, Jag
Tim, you are in our prayers. Maybe you can make it to next years Supernats.
There is a local street rodder who uses a cane; if someday it is possible to post a picture of you and the cane, we might get some ideas on making him one. (The cane, not you!)
