I asked him to join us - I think he is located within a few miles of JagRed, and know that several of us are interested in his vintage of trucks.

Welcome, Richard. I've run a few races in your neck of the woods back in the days when I was into driving around in circles. Nice little track you guys have over there. And I had a relative who owned the Western Auto store in Roseville many years ago (when there still was such a thing.)

 

Am I correct in thinking that the 223 six is a bolt in replacement for the 215? In fact, can he replace his six with any 223 or 262 six up to 1965, when Ford changed to the 240/300 six?

Does anyone else have a stock six of that vintage?
