Having a 2-door standard cab, I always had a bunch of stuff behind my driver's seat; jumper cables, fix-a-flat, tire iron and jack, fire extinguisher, tiedowns, etc. But it was always moving around and whenever somebody moved my seat forward the stuff would get in the way way of the seat going back.
I found a universal cargo net at Advance Auto, it was like $18 but I couldn't really find any cheaper online. It hooked to 2 existing screws up near the back window and 3 plastic plugs on the floor (2 each side, 1 in the middle.) Works really good, here's a pic: http://users.nexet.net/dbateman/F-150/DSCF2645.JPG
I've had Herculiner in my bed for 2 years, and it's holding up well (it stays parked under a tree most of the time, out of the sun.) But the top of the bed rails was always scratchy and rough.
