AOD swap question
I had my mechanic swap an AOD in behind my 302 in my 79 f-100. I just got it back, it's not really done, but i have a few questions, it whines real bad when it drives at low speed, i hear a clicking comeing from the front and when i look from the front in, i swear i can see the torque converter, like the bellhousing doesn't fully cover the transmission bell houseing. I shouldn't say that, it's like a metal plate with the starter on the left and the plate goes all the way across the front and about 2/3's of the way down the front and i can see the torque converter i think, i take it this isn't right, right?

Actually i can't see the convertor, it was actually just the flate front with a plate type thing inside? I'll take a pictures, and the whine is only at crawl speed, and the clicking is cause the ******* who installed it left it in 4x4 mode. Oh and any ideas how to get it OUT of 4x4 mode? The T-case shifter isn't installed so how do i get it out of 4x4 mode? I tried hitting it with a hammer to no avail.
