What are the flow numbers for the E7TE heads?

are they stock one or are the ported and worked if stock try to find gt-40s but if you want to put work into the e7 then ya they are good head

No, I'm keeping the heads stock for now, just want to know some numbers. I know that they are a good head.

dont mean to change the subject but can you use rollor lifters with all E7's?

I'm sure you mean roller rockers, not lifters. Yes, as long as they are pedalstal mount-bolt down. Additionally, any compentant machine shop can convert them to stud mount, adjustable roller rockers, with guide plates.

Stock 289 through windsor heads are designed for high flow velocities, not high flow volume. Considering, the original engines were relatively small displacement, long rod engines, this made good sense from a low end tourqe output, on a stock level motor, perspective. If mid-range tourqe and horsepower production are the the goals, then the flow volume needs to be much higher, and will really wake these motors up.

no i meant rollar lifters, cause i know the head has to be a certain way in order to use them but i didnt' know if they used rollar lifters with all the engines that came with E7 heads

E7's were used on HO roller motors, and non HO- non-roller truck motors, and roller truck motors.
