Engine size with casting number

I have this part number or casting number and want to know what size of engine it is. It is an inline 6-either 240 or 300. How can I tell which?

Here is the number on the right hand side of my engine:
DSTE-6015-AA

Any hellp would be appreciated.

I know this post was a long time ago but, i just purchased a 1965 and have the same markings on my engine. I was doing a search and came across your question. Did you ever get and answer?

This thread is 11 years old, the OP last posted on FTE in 2006, member that typed post #2 hasn't been on FTE since 2001.

D5TE-6015-AA: 1975 300 I-6 block casting number / 240 I-6 cancelled at the end of the 1974 model run.
