Okay, i just discovered this tonight. I would lock the door of my Expy, then about 10 seconds later it will unlock. First the driver side door. THen the rest of the doors.. then it keeps clicking like someone is pressing the unlock button.
How are you locking the doors ? Are you using the remote ? If so just try locking the doors without the remote. Maybe the button is somehow sticking or something.
What year? Did you recently wash it, or did it recently rain?
I asked because a lot of the first generation style had an issue with water leaking in at the windsheild, and it would leak directly on the GEM, causing all sorts of electrical gremlins.

I have a 99 Expedition with electrical gremlins... My wipers turn on and off at odd times and my odometer LED turns on and off from time to time.
Should I have my windshield seal replaced? Thanks!
you dodnt need to replace your windshield, but where the leak comes from is in the top right hand corner of the windsheild, and the water runs down and trickles onto the back of the GEM module. i had a really good experience with this on a long road trip going from kentucky to arizona, what a nightmare. First the speedo would stop working, then the transmission would downshift into first gear, while i was on the freeway going 75 and on top of that the wipers would shut off just long enough to blind me. finnaly i came to an off ramp and parked it turned off the ignition and it tried to start it self. i ended up having to stay at a hotel, 150 a night until the rain stopped.
I would at least have someone look at the GEM (general electronics module) and see if it shows signs of moisture. If it does, then yeah, get that windshield seal fixed. I'm not sure if there is a TSB about it.
