Front axle size?
I have asked this question before but havent got a direct answer I would like to add manual hubs to my 1991 f250 regular cab auto/od with 7.5 where/how would I find out what front axle I have.Was told you can measure across face of auto hub to tell by going by width = certain rear.Spline count seems to be the real question when looking at choices to order the warn hubs?Randy

It could be either a D44 HD or a D50.
The dana 50 uses D60 hubs on it, and are noticeably larger than a d44's.
You can look at the pumpkin (differential) and see if there is a marking denoting it's size, often times it's stamped in it.
Or, you can measure the diameter of the hub, if it's like 3" it's a D44. If it's like 5" it's a D50.

I duno, you can look at an aftermarket company's listings and look up hubs specified as D44 or D50.
All you need to do is find out which size axle you have...then just order hubs for that size axle...
You don't need to know the spline count.
