Coil on Plug is all I can think of, but the 94 351 doesn't use coil on plug ignition.

If you want help with your misfire problem, I would start by telling us everything about the truck, how long you've had it, what repairs and maintenance have been done recently, when the problem started, how many miles, etc.

Have you changed your spark plugs and wires yet? Your truck definately would not have a COP.

the truck is a 94 f-350 with a 351w 4x4 with 157,000 miles. every morning when i go to start my truck it starts fine and idles ok but when i start out to leave i have to be really sensitive with the gas, if i give it too much it acts like it is going to die, just completely cuts out, if i let off the gas it will go but i can't really make it go more than 30 without the cutting out problem. the weird thing is that sometimes if i turn the truck off and turn it right back on, the problem is gone that is why i thought it was some kind of electrical problem but sometimes i have to turn it off 3 or 4 times before i get this result, usually after the motor gets warmed up (where it reads in the normal range of the temp gauge) then it is ok, but not always. the first thing i did was change the spark plugs, wires, cap and rotor. i limped into a mechanic the other day and they said my fuel pressure was low and replaced some vacuum lines they claimed had been eaten by a mouse or something. that didn't really seem to fix the problem as it is still doing it today. usually the worst in the morning or after the truck has been sitting all day and i try to go home at night. any help would really be appreciated as i am very frustrated. thanks

Replace the fuel filter. My 95 did that and the fuel filter would clog up. When you shut it off, the particles in the filter seperate and then once you fire it back up and run it for a little bit, those particles inside the filter will clog the exit and cause low fuel pressure. Your "mechanic" should have figured that one out instantly.

Custodian, I'm pretty sure we found out what the "COP" was. He was mistaken thinking his truck had Coil on Plug ignition like the 5.4's have.

No no no don't take offense. I was just pointing out that we had figured out what he was talking about already.
