Yes you can. But that one setting would probably be your stock setting. So basically you would have two settings, and only one you would have to pay for.
Can I purchase a chip with only one setting on it and later on add more settings as I need them and can afford them?
Yes you can. We have customers get only one program on the chip and then add to it later. What you get on it will depend on what you have done to the truck. We highly recommend adding gauges first before doing a performance chip or programmer.

DP-Tuner Glad to see you joined and support FTE. I spoke with you the other evening about the upgraded key fob and mount
sorry bout the .
Robert at least get the 80hp econo and you wont be able to wipe the grin off you face. I only have the 1-no start 2-stock 3-60hp tow 4-80 econo. I have never used the stock position since getting the chip. I got the 60hp tow just cause. I use the no start just incase some scumbag wants my truck more than I do. The rest of the time it's in the 80 econo mode and cant wipe the grin off my face .
IF, and that is a big if, you can keep your foot out of it 80 econo works great. I'm not going to post any mileage numbers yet(too soon, need one more fill up) but I am extremely happy. Best money I've ever spent!
Rampage is right on, 60 tow around town and 80 econo everywhere else. and as jetdoc said You will actually increase fuel mileage with the chip in both positions IF big IF you can keep your foot out of it. I have increased in town mileage by approx 3-4 mpg and 5-6 on highway. I have tried my chip on the 60tow on the interstate and the fuel mileage is not as good as the 80 econo. Once you get the chip you will get whiplash the first few days untill you learn to press lightly on the fuel pedal!! lol Dont delay in getting the chip, I waited almost 3 years and now I dont know how I ever did without it.
My F-450 is on order, and I am already thinking about ways to increase fuel mileage, as it will be a work truck driving close to 300 mi/day. Any good for 2007 yet?
