360 top end

hi guys, its been a while since ive been in here, still working on getting my 360 together. bottom end is built, stock, but built right, blueprinted, etc, now i have the heads ported and polished, and cut for large cobra jet style valves, im running the stock cam profile, whats a good set of lifters/pushrods/springs/retainers/etc to use for stock replacement.

My best advice would be contact Comp or Crane Cams and tell them what you want. They will give you every part number you need. Comp was very helpful to me when I rebuilt my motor.

I bought a set of Comp valve springs, and only 3 of them meet their specs. Two otheres had the damper springs cut a full coil too short. I returned them and picked up a set of Crane springs. Every spring met their specs, which also met the 390 GT and 428 PI specs. I would do as pbear suggests and get springs to match your cam. I am using Crane valve spring retainers and the 2 piece keepers.
I am using Seal Power pushrods and adjustable rocker arms. Rocker arm contact is within spec and system is running smoothly with 0.533 lift. I would recommend bronze guides in the heads. Hope this helps.
