engine help
Usually in the 03 diesel forum but my fiance baught a 2000 f150 with a bad motor. Bearing on the a rod shot. I got it all tore apart and it's about to get a bath and have all the machining checked. Does anyone have any suggestions as to putting it back together. Like after market parts to make it run better or any tips or mods while the whole thing is apart. I don't want to make it fast, fiance' truck, but anything to replace weak stock parts or better millage or anything like that. Thanks in advance
Almost forgot, it is a 2000 5.4 4x4 super cab, off road, The engine had about 65000 on it when the bearing went.
