Idle Issues
hello all; ok so here is the situation. I have a 2000 4.2 v6 m/t and i am having problems with eratic idle. I have replaced the TPS, IAC, PCV and cleaned the MAF and the TB. I will be driving along just fine but when i come to a stop the idle stays very high and when the wheels stop then the idle rises. i can only get the truck to do this when the wheels move. I can play with the throttle with out it moving and its fine. I can also drop it into gear and slowly let out the clutch without touching the trottle and the same result. I would have to assume there is some sort of sensor on the transmission that is causing this issue but I would like your opions on it. thank - u

yes the battery was off for a bt the other day when I changed it. After reading several other listings on this board, I am not enitrely sure that it is the the VSS. I don't have the ABS light coming on, there are no codes being stored and the Speedometer is ok. Could it be something else......I am very distraut. Also I forgot to mention it has the M5OD Trans. That is why i am thinging there is sensor on the tranny. I know that one of those on there is the speedo but what is the other? Could this effect the engine Idle that bad? PLS HELP!!!!
