Found your website thru looking for parts for the new truck. I just got a 2006 F-150 4x4 Crewcab XLT with every option available. What I traded in was a 2003 F-250 6.0L 4x4 Auto that was slightly modified. Had too many problems with the truck and decided to go with the 150. Question I have is what is a good muffler to put on the 4.6L. What is a good intake? Also will I be able to use my SCT Xcal2 that I had on my diesel on this truck or am I going to have to find something different? It has been about 10 years since I have own a gasser so I don't know what is out there

Congrats on the new truck. Most people either do the Magnaflow or flowmaster di/do muffler it all depends on your personal preference. I think pretty much what people say is that the flowmaster is louder but drones at highway speed and the magnaflow is not as loud and doesn't drone at highway speed. I have the flowmaster and really like the sound but yes it does drone on the highway while cruising. There are plenty of thing to do to your truck search the forum or wait for someone else to reply. You can also look at the site sponsors too.

The last gasser I did have was a Ranger with a 4-cyl that I put a 2 chamber 40-series flowmaster muffler on it with a turn down. It sounded sweet. So Flowmaster on the Ford is still good choice. Great now I'll go get the 40 series again with a turn down. No sense in the duals cause it won't affect anything personnaly I don't like them that much unless they are dual stacks. My 6.0L I had I pulled the kitty kat out and installed a 4 inch turbo back Bully Dog Exhaust. Drone is not a concern at all I listened to a jet while driving the 6.0L. Thanks for the reply.
