Search for common problems then look at truck to see if it shows signs of common problems. Then ask the seller if the truck has had anyof the problems fixed.

Welcome Ed! Take some time to read through the posts here and you will learn about the various problems folks have had with their trucks. This should give you an idea on what to be on the lookout for.
