rough tranny
on my 91 f-150 i have an AOD transmission and when i shift into reverse it slams in almost dragging the front tires, and also at low RPMs it slams into 2ND gear (only at low RPMs not if i wrap it up real high) but not while i am pulling a trailer or towing someone. it was rebuilt in a shop about 7000 miles ago but i put it back into my truck and it only started happening at about 6000 miles off and on first now its about 8 times out of ten. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP BEFORE I NEED TO REBUILD IT AGAIN. thanks

Take it to a tranny shop and let them read the codes.It may be free or they may charge you 50 or 60 bucks but its well worth it.after they read they codes they can tell you wats wrong.Not only that if you had them rebuild it 7,000 miles ago i would be back there telling them to read me the codes for free.Somthing doesnt sound right to me thats not very many miles on a rebuild.good luck
