replace rear shocks
97-F150 Does any body know the best way to remove rear shocks. I have pro comp replacements. The top of the shock is a tight fit to use a air ratchet. Manual ratchet with deep socket is to big it hits the bed panel, and the small socket dosent reach the nut. It seems there is no room to work. Any suggestions

I cut the top nut off, cussed and cussed using an open end wrench like Smaug and finally I decided that it wasnt worth the effort and cut it off. Total time trying to break rear shock nuts loose: 2 days, total time including cutting off nuts: 20 minutes.
