air flow restrictions
Hi Everyone
I currently have a 2005 7.3 powerstroke f250 Australian model ,which i think is the same as your 2003 model ,the vehicle was delivered from ford with a factory snorkel,the air cleaner gauge on the air box shows 70% air flow restriction after a new air filter is fitted, after several times back to the dealer changing air flow censors,with the problem still their ,Ford australia has told me their is nothing they can do to rectify my air flow problem, not very good when you pay $90.000 AUS for a vehicle with 3 years warranty , Has anyone in the states had this problem with a ford factory snorkel ,the vehicle has a superchip controller model1705 fitted does anyone know the best setting for fuel consumption as diesel is $1.50 AUS per litre

Thats' pretty typical for the ones over here too when you add in performance HP products. The air minder is at best not very accurate too!! Best thing is to get an AFE Stage II system in the Pro Guard 7 media, the max flow and filter size that will fit the truck. Take a look at our site to see them, if you need one we'll ship it to "Fosters" land for you if you want!!
