Steve Irwin, AKA Crocidile Hunter was killed this morning in a filming. I know its off topic but maybe some would like to know.
Apparantly there will be a special on the tube tonight.
5 star,
I saw that on the internet today. Sad, young guy with a beautiful wife and two little kids. You can say he did a lot for conservation of animals.
Just sad...
Jeff
Irwin was swimming above & a tick behind a Stingray, just a tick to close, when it flicked its Barbed Tail up piercing his heart killing him instantly.
It's sad day for the rest of the world, for we lack enough of those that actually care for nature as he did, risk taker though he was.
He had a passion for life that is rare. Normally I don't get sad from Hollywood deaths, but this one hurts. I guess his personality made him one of the family.
Irwin wasn't "Hollywood", Animal Planet & the Discovery Channel have nothing to due w/ the Hollywood Studio & Tele Network systems.
Irwin was what is known in the Industry as an "Indy Maverick" & an Aussie Mate, that made good doing what few others have done by combining teaching about nature, conservincy & making it fun & exciting.
Irwin will be greatly missed by those that shared his visions.
Crikey! What a tragedy! The man was incredible. He sure had a passion for what he cared about.
I'm not trying to make light of the situation but look on the bright side, the man died doing what he loved. If you have to go, doing what you love has got to be the way to do it.
