i am having trouble with the tranny it keeps poping out of second gear. is their any adjustment on it ?

As far as I know, the only adjustment externally is the shifter linkage itself. It may not be fully engaging 2nd. gear. If this is not the case, you could have a bent shift fork or worn syncro rings, both which are internal problems and could be quite tricky to pinpoint or repair if you have no knowledge of the internals of a tranny.

I agree. Sounds like you are having shifter problems. I was having a hard time with my transmisson until I relized I had bent the rods. I can't help I am a little rough with it.

i just rebuilt the tranny so i think it might be the lickage

If you just rebuilt it make sure the little check ball is under the spring where the forks rod goes in to the case. Some times they get left out and other times the shaft wears out so you need to sharpen the holes edge but don't go to far you'll never get it out of gear.
