with stock suspension, you should be able to fit 33X12.5X16.5 under there with no problems.

It is only 11 inches wide too (not 12.50")

With stock gears and tranny, say 3.55 and a C6, isn't that 1" UPsize gonna' make it even worse of a dog on acceleration?

I am not much for being fast off the light, but I do haul a lot of weight.
I had no trouble getting going with 9,700 pounds of rock in the bed.

PS. Don't try that with a stock truck, mine is a bit modified.
Pulled off the scales at 17,375 pounds this morning.

Yes it is snow, that was taken winter before last.

I have the truck licensed and insured for 20,000 pounds.
The only time I am over that is when I tow our mini excavator and I have both fuel tanks on my truck full.

All WV cares about is you pay for the increased gross weight. My commercial plates cost about 5 times what regular plates do each year.

oh ok. i thought it was a recent picture. i was gonna say i know its gonna be a tough winter, but dang! snow in W.V. in the first if september is just too dang early.

and i know what you mean with the reg cost. my 88 is $189 just to be legal at 10,000 lbs, since it weighs 8900lbs.with 2 empty tanks and my fat butt out of it on the scale. me in it, full of fuel, the gang box in the back with the story pole, all the signs and chains and binders and other crap it is close to 10,000 lbs

since we're talking about snow now and i love snow... here's where i lived last year-

on new years we had 9 feet of snow fall in 48 hours. 637" for the season.

the old IDI pulled many a tourist out of the snow.
