Eaton Transmissions?
Has anyone heard any rumors about Eaton building an autoshift 7sp for the new 6.0L powerstroke in 2003?I have heard that the allison wont be reliable or available, and ford decided to go with a scaled down version of the roadranger lightning instead. my sources say it is a double overdrive (one for light-duty cruising). at only 500 lbs the regular lightning 10sp seems ok to me also.I could learn drive an auto-shift.
