Would any one know What newer year if any Cab can be changed (or swapped with) a 1965 F 350? mine has been eaten alive with rust to the point that repair is out of the question. My dump and drive train is in good shape and I hate to give up on her its the best work truck around the house. Thanks for any advice.

Bill,
Any cab from 61-66 can be used on your truck. THe 65-66 uses a 61-64 type cab with a few modifications for the 65-66 accessories. Most notible are the heaterbox inlet and the wiper mounts.

I would like to make a minor correction to thecab that fits your truck. Any 61-64 cab will work but only the 65-66 f-350 cab will work. The 65-66 f-100 and f-250 have a different type floor pan to accomadate the twin I beam suspension. Also a cab from a f-500 will work . The 65-66 f-350 has a step built into the floor like the earlier cabs .I too have a 1965 f-350 dump truck that I used for snowplowing and in my construction business. With a set of dual wheel chains and about 1500 pounds in the bed the truck was unstoppable!Right now I am in the process of a ground up resto. I purchased my cab from a fellow in ohio who goes out west to to find good parts for old trucks .His number is 937-834-2711 Give him a call let us know how you make out
