Fuel Tank Problem

I have taken down and replaced my two fuel tanks twice now trying to fix a problem and I have yet to figure it out. I have an '86 F-250 6.9L. When I go to the filling station it takes me like 30 minutes to fill up. I can only pump like $0.50 worth of diesel at a time before it just spews it all out all over the place. The tank is definetely acting like it is not being vented, but I have no clue what to do to fix this problem. I have taken the tanks down and reinstalled them twice both times I changed the vent tubes position to try and get it to work, but each time it was to no avail. I STILL get the same thing. Everytime I try to pump fuel it just spews it all back at me unless I go REALLY slow, has anyone else had this problem??? most importantly has anyone come up with a solution??? thanks in advance

Your probably using the OTR fuel pumps at the station and our trucks do not like them. Read up on harpooning the tanks.....ie adding an external vent line to the filler tube(s).

I took the vent tubes out of my fill tubes and it works better, but the big nozzles are still a pain.
