Smile 2002 explorer with dual front control

the right side of my aircondition is blowing out hot air. I went in looking for an actuator and can't seem to find it. the manual I purchased shows where it would be for a single control aircondition system but not a dual system. does anyone know where I should look?

lower glove box and look lower left. not easy to see. you have to remove concole and swing out dash for replacement.

Thanks - sounds like swinging out the dash might be something left for non-novice repair person. Huh?
