5.4 detailing
My first attemp was ok. I covered the air filter and kept from directly spraying the COPs. I bought one of those mr.clean auto dry systems and used the filtered water to wet the bay down. I used a terrytowel to clean the battery up and another to wipe nearly anything I could touch.
On to the Gunk citrus cleaner, I gave the bay light mist and sprayed down the greasy spots and let it sit for a few minutes.
I came back and used the straight spray on the greasy spots and followed up by spraying the whole bay and motor down again with the fast dry filtered water.
I am going to the dollar store tomorrow to look for simple green and some cheap brushes to try again. Anyone have any tricks they would like to share? h
When that is done, I spray Engine Finish on everything (except serpentine belt) when the engine is cool. Wait 10 minutes then put another coat on.

I don't worry about water spots, my boss has taught me the value of windex.
