I have a parts book titled "1948-1956 Ford Truck Parts and Accessories, Illustrations Catalog." Its dated 1964. The illustrations are listed by years and lettered Models, C, D, J, T, TL, Q, QH, etc. I've pretty much figured out that my F1 is a Model C.
My question is: What Model are the F2 and F3 trucks? Are they D or J or what?
Is there a website or forum that I can learn about this info?
Christopher2,
Thank you kindly, Sir. That info will be most helpful to me in answering not only my own questions, but questions from others. I copied it down in the book so my over-40 memory won't strike me stupid later.
Those series of books are riddled with mistakes and omissions. You need to find a 48-55 book, which is complete, correct and also has the charts in the front for the model designations.
