buckeyeone, my 91 also did the exact same thing, 1st it would do it every once in awhile, sometimes you could rev it up and it would fix it self. Finally, it just wanted to show 3200 rpm. Swapped it out with another tach that I had and been working fine ever since.
I can't believe that I, an Oklahoma Sooner fan, just helped a buckeye at the beginning of football season. I quess us Ranger folks will put aside our differences long enough to help our fellow Ranger enthusiast. Just joking buckeyeone,lol. Good luck with your Ranger, and welcome aboard.
