transfer case crack

i have a 1998 f-150 supercab 4x4 with a hair-line crack just under the drain plug on the transfer case. what would be a good way to fix it without welding?

Aside from replacing, Epoxy or something similar (I've heard the name JBweld tossed around once or twice, but I'm not familiar with it). Make sure you clean the surfaces well. But you should know,chances are good it won’t be a permanent fix.
