Engine cutout on steep hills

My engine doesn't seem to get any fuel when I am 4 wheeling up steep hills. I don't know if it is the carb or if I need a new fuel pump.

need more info. what year, motor, carb etc... fill out the signature part in the controlpanel area. this way we dont have to ask ya all the time

Please pass along how steep that the hill is that you are trying to climb. It is possible that the hill is simply too steep for a carb. At least for anything resembling a stock carb.

Also, are you trying to climb with only a half full fuel tank or less? The fuel pickup may be sucking air rather than fuel.
