Starter Relay Wiring

I'm having starting issues with my '93 Bronco. When I start it, it just clicks, then the power dies. The way to get power back is to disconnect then reconnect the negative cable on the battery, power comes back to the truck, but when I try to start it up again, it clicks, then no power. I had the starter benchtested, tested fine. Put i a new starter relay, but has the same problem. I checked all the wires, all look good except for the small push on wire with the rubber boot on the starter relay. I can not find where the other end of that wire goes, I'm assuming its the small wire on the starter solonoid? What I'd like to know is where the wire goes, and if there is a certain name for that wire so I can get a new one at an auto store.

Thanks!

The little wire is the ignition wire, it has +12v on it when the key is in the start position. I would replace all the cables is their originals, they ,ay look fine but for some reason they tend to grow corrosion on the inside of the insulation where you can't see it.

Thanks, but where does the ignition wire go from the starter relay? Where is the other end of the wire located?

Well, I changed out all the cables, the two thick positive wires, and the small positive wire that clips to the solanoid on the starter, and the truck does the same thing, clicks then no power until I disconnect then reconnect the battery, then I have power again. I've run out of ideas on how to fix this.
