Transmission problems
I have a 2000 f350 PSD/w auto tranny. When I'm getting on the highway, or whenever my truck feels like it, The transmission builds up a lot of pressure then dumps into the next gear. Most of the time it is when it is going into drive, sometimes when it is going from first into second. When it does it, it jerks the whole truck, but goes into the next gear. The tranny is not slipping and shifts fine, when not building up speed fast. I've been told that it could be the torque convertor going out, but I need more advise. Any help would be appreciated.

Sounds like there is a restriction, possibly in valve body. I had the same problem with a GMC Jimmy with 160k. Had fluid changed, did not help. Put in a bottle of slick 50 trans treatment into new fluid, problem was gone next day.
