Thinking about a new drivetrain
Hey all,
I'm tossing around some ideas regarding a new drivetrain involving the 300 straight six engine and would appreciate some input. My own truck is a 1980 F-150 V-8 4x4, but this may be a down the road build for an 80-86 model SWB f-150.
I know the NP435 is a good all around tranny and will bolt up to a L6 motor. Which transfer case goes with it? NP 208 or BW 1345? The truck would be a daily driver, some towing/hauling and the weekend mud toy.
Any drivetrain suggestions?
