I have a 2007 F350 with a mbrp turbo back, k&n intake, and a bully dog triple dog power pup. when i accelerate i get a puff of white smoke, then i get the usual black smoke. There is no loss in power. I checked the coolant and im still full. I was just wondering if i should be worrying, and what it could be.
That is the same situation that I had with mine. Only white smoke at take off. It started out slight, then after a few more days it got heavier. I'm not sure why the turbo was the issue, but its been 2 weeks since the replacement and have not had any white smoke. The dealer tried first to clean the turbo and the erg to no avail, then replaced turbo. They said it had oil residue inside of it, indicating a slight leak. let us know how it goes.
i am sorry for being short. ccv is crankcase ventilation system. it will put oil vapor in the intake system and it will be everywhere. now it the oil seal went out in the turbo you would leave a trail of oil everywhere you went and you would not go far with this big of leak.
Just an update, i brought it in to the dealership and they said they cant warranty anything because i removed the cat. She goes into telling me that whatever is wrong (because the didnt even look) is most likely cause by the decrease in backpressure. I hate dealerships.
I don't mean to offend. This is an honest question. But, do you think the mbrp turbo back, K&N intake and or the bully dog triple dog power pup...or a combination of all three might have something to do with the warranty denial?
