Thanks wintremute, I was afraid that was the case. I was hoping for a company that sold kits like the ones for a Toyota upgrade to v-6 or v-8. I will have to look around the area and see if I can't call in some favors. Thanks

www.jegs.com has a kit as well. www.summitracing.com might also, as might eBay.
But by far, the easiest way is a wrecked 5.0L Ranger, what's wrong with that idea in your opinion?

As you can probably tell I am not a Ford guy, it came with my wife, at least the truck is paid for. I did not know the Rangers came equipped with a V-8, I have a lot of research to do. I talked to the shop around the corner from home and his quote is close to 5K for the total swap. I definately have to check all my options, thanks for the info.
