I have to put a new clutch in my 99 f150 4x4 4.2, I was just wondering if you know of any better clutches? I might be thinking about lifted the truck a lil and changing gears, so maybe a heavy duty clutch?
Just wondering what I should be looking around for!
Brian, I just replaced my clutch in my 78 F150 4x4 and decided to go with a centerforce clutch. They have up to 90% better holding power than stock. If you are going to be doing any wheeling in 4wd and are using low range with high revs you can't go wrong with the centerforce, it simply will not slip. go to www.summitracing.com and enter your trucks info, it will show you all the clutches available to you for your truck.
