Well, I've stopped taking stuff off for now!!!!
Been polishing the Alum. Intake, heads and some other Alum parts off the Motor.
Got a lot of powder coating done...still need to get a couple of parts back so I can start putting the Motor back together...
Haven't touched any of the Body work, since it's been so hot!!!!
It's going slower then I would like...but all I can do is chip away at it when I have the time and the money!!!!

Thanks for the Good words....
James. a.k.a. carnut57 did the powder coating for me
I am keeping the V6. I still have the 351w sitting in the Garage...one of these Days!!!!
The V6 is a pretty rare Motor in a full size and it sure gets a lot of looks at shows and G2Gs....plus Ford was nice enough is use all these Aluminum Parts on it

Ford Trucks for Ford Truck Enthusiasts
aluminum heads, what kind you have there? I have a set of trickflow twisted wedge heads on a 302 i built up. other parts: pete jackson, comp cams, speed pro, motorsport roller rockers, etc....
nice to have you on board here.
Thanks for the Welcome!
The Heads are OEM as is the entire Engine...1982 was the 1st year for the 3.8 and Ford was trying to save weight, so they used a lot of Aluminum.
The Truck is a real Dog!!! She will run great on the Hiway...of course having a 2.70 Rear End is not helping much!!!!!
I decided to stay with the 3.8 cause of MPG and only 1 out of 5 F-series made that year with a 6 cyl had the 3.8, the other 6 was the 300
