I am sure I can do it but for that price out the door I would just as soon let someone else do it as I work a ton of hours (work for a company that builds oil well drills) and rarely have any weekends off. When I am off the last thing I want to do is work on something.
Question though. I have the auto hubs and just like what was described earlier when I flip the switch my A/C goes to defrost and the hubs don't lock. Now, if I get out of the truck and manually lock them and then switch into 4WD am I really in 4WD? The lights on the cluster do indicate both high and low ranges.
Yes; The reason for the AC/Defrost is a vacumn leak. If it is the Hub O-rings then just plug the lines, if not then you will need to trace the vacumn lines to find the leak.
