What are my chances?
A little over a month ago I bought a new F350 6.0 utility truck. Today I received a letter from Ford stating that because of my credit rating (620) they are going to have to raise the interest rate. When I bought this truck I was adamant that I didn't take delivery until they were sure that the deal was done and the salesman was possitive that it was done. I guess it is not. In the letter they did not state the new % rate. Any ideas?

You took delivery a month ago, and now they want to raise rates? This is easy- do you have a loan # yet? There's more to this story- once a loan is bought, it'd a done deal. Was this written on commercial paper, by any chance?

Well thanks guys for the replys but I was completely wrong. What happened was when I bought the truck they couldn't give me the addvertised 2.9 but I had to take 3.9 because of my fico score. The letter Ford sent was just a formality because of the higher rate if that makes any sense. I was a little worried because two F150's ago I had bought a truck and a week later they said I had to bring it back because of financing. I ended up leasing it. Thanks for the replys though.
