Ok well the previous thread, stupid things previous owners have done. Well how's about stupid things people who are "helping" you work on your truck have done.
I was installing a mechanical water temp gauge in my Ranger and some antifreeze spilled out of the sender hole onto the top of the lower intake manifold where it collected between the "ribs". Instead of getting a towel or something to wipe it up with, a friend of mine who had chose until this point not to help, grabs an air hose from the compressor. 120 PSI of air puts antifreeze in your eyes really quickly. I wasn't happy about that.
